Function: The joint ensures safe disconnection. When disconnecting, press the button, then the connector closes and releases the pressure on the side of the quick connector. This prevents a dangerous rebound effect. The quick-release connector is released by pressing the button a second time.

Recommendation: Use hardened steel quick-release connectors.
